Chloe Ryan

Chloe-Ryan Woolfolk is from New Haven, Connecticut. She attended Norfolk State University, where she studied Mass Communications with a focus on Journalism. During her time at NSU Chloe was the editor-in-chief of the university’s newspaper, The Spartan Echo and Vice president of the NSU chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). She also was invited to the White House and interviewed former VP Kamala Harris.

After graduating in December 2023, Chloe relocated to Long Island, New York where she interned at Newsday TV, gaining experience in reporting, producing and video editing. In August 2024, Chloe began her journey at New York University’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute in Manhattan. During her time at NYU, Chloe covered the presidential election and traveled to report in Robeson County, North Carolina and Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated with her Master of Arts in Journalism in December 2025.

She joined First Alert 7 Reporter/MMJ in June of 2026
